Tourism & Attractions in Red Deer

 

One of your first stops should be the Tourism Red Deer Visitor Centre. The centre is open year-round and it's staff is knowledgable about the area's attraction, activities and local events. While there you can browse and take home some of it's extensive travel literature.

North of the 32nd Street overpass on Highway 2.

Hours of operation:
Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; weekends and holidays 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
(Extended summer hours)

Red Deer & District Museum

A visit to the museum will be rewarded with fascinating historical information on the First Nation culture up until the the city we know today as Red Deer. The Museum also features touring exhibits from local, national and international art to science and history.
